Sgt Grit's License Plate

Virgina USMC Plates SgtGrit:
Here are a few Marine Corps related Virginia License Plates I have had in the past. Most are obvious to our Marines, including an abbreviaed "Tun Tavern." W15E25" of course were my two units in Korea ('52-'53): WpnsCo, 1stBn, 5thMarines & "EasyCo, 2ndBn, 5th Marines."

I still have "Marine 1" which I hope to keep until "they pry it from my cold dead hands," - (a la Charlton Heston). 74, still mean, still lean, and always a Marine!

Hello Sgt Grit:

Thought you might like to see a Marine family's tags... MSTNG is mine. TRY2XCL is my wife's and the other two are 'worn' by my two adult daughters. (I take that as a compliment...their ideas).

Keep the faith and Semper Fidelis.
