After having a BOSS snow plow put on my Ford 250, I wasn't aware of a hidden bonus untill I dropped the plow off. It was then I discovered the real truth. The BOSS logo goes great with my Sgt. Grit MARINE plate. Thought I would share it with you. Semper Fi.

I'm an Honorably Discharged Marine and now a Chicago Police Officer. Thought I'd drop an email and show off my newly acquired license plates. I am extremely proud of them. I've lost count how many times I've gotten a honk and a thumbs up while driving. Not only do these plates show my pride of being a Marine but they also remind people to remember our Marines and why they are doing what they do. God Bless all of our Marines and the U. S. Update

An updated photo of my truck for you to add to my previous submissions. Since my last email, I contacted a company which makes reflective vinyl stickers for boat names and had them make this for me.

I feel the need to stress the point of the cost of freedom to everyone by any means. This is my way. If my truck makes people think of and hopefully appreciate our Marines and our troops, if even just for a few seconds, then I've achieved my goal. Plus, I'm so damn proud of our guys and girls out there this is my small way of thanking them daily.

Some photos my Kentucky Marine Corps Veteran's license plate before and after I recieved my "Once a Marine" license plate frame . Not sure how many other states have license plates as such, but might be an interesting thing to showcase on the website if you can find many others. I display mine proudly everywhere I go and get quite a few car horn beeps and friendly waves from others with the same type of tag. Best Wishes and Semper Fidelis,

A Better Bike

I have ridden many bikes over the years and now I finally have one that is new and I have been looking for ways to make it more personal and of course I thought of your website. I am still thinking of ways to fix it up the way I want and will always check your site first thanks for being there.

USMC Demolition Derby Car

Sgt. Grit, attached are pictures of my sister, Rhonda's, demolition derby car for the Medina County, Ohio 2004 Demo Derby. This was her first year, so she was "self-sponsored." She created the stencils, we painted and decorated the car. Our inspiration? Our No. 1 favorite jarhead - Dad. Dad is a retired Master Sergeant - Vietnam Veteran. We are truly "Marine Corp brats" through and through.

Not only did the car receive favorable comments - in the stands we all sat in our Marine Corp logo attire, accessorized with our air horns and megaphone.

While we were highly disappointed that her car was not chosen to be voted on by the crowd as a favorite (the "judges" chose, among others, this namby-pamby rainbow/clouds thing with butterflies, luckily it did NOT win) - it did win over the hearts of the Marine Corps League members that were there handling color guard. Guess who now has a sponsor for next year's derby? Only one stipulation - she decorate her car in the same "Devil Dog" theme. GLADLY!!!!

I am hoping the pics could make it on your website. We borrowed a few sayings from the stickers that are offered in your cataloge, and had help with the Dad's rank "patches" on the trunk. Thanks!!!
