A USMC Ace of Spades patch from SGT Grit lets a Marine proudly show off their service.
This large patch, perfect for the back of a jacket, is filled with meaningful symbols for Marines - especially those who served during the Vietnam War.
The ace of spades' use as a symbol for U.S. troops is best known as a morale builder during the Vietnam War. Some erroneously believed that the ace would be a psychological weapon against Viet Cong forces. Instead, thanks to the contributions of the U.S. Playing Card Co., the ace became a morale builder for our troops. The ace was also used as a symbol in World War II by a regiment of the 101st Airborne Division.
This 10-inch patch features a large spade with the USMC EGA insignia on a field of red, and American flags in the background. It makes a good choice for Marines who ride motorcycles, as well as memorabilia collectors.
